Koivuranta Food Baskets

At Koivuranta, baskets have long been used to carry meals to the edge of the fields for a lunch break, to collect berries from the forest, and to bring gifts to the neighbours.

We know how to fill a single basket with delicious local food and unforgettable flavours. Today, our baskets are filled with tasty treats delivered directly to our holiday cottages.

Our food baskets are prepared using local ingredients, with a special focus on D.O. Saimaa products. We are proud to have received the D.O. Saimaa Support recognition.

Koivuranta Breakfast Basket

Order a delicious Koivuranta Breakfast Basket for collection from the farm or have it delivered directly to your cottage.

The basket includes homemade products prepared with Finnish ingredients. Its contents vary according to the season and daily availability. It may include homemade granola, yoghurt or quark, jam, bread or rolls, juice, and your choice of coffee or tea. Ground coffee or loose-leaf tea is included. If you would prefer ready-made coffee or tea served in a thermos, please let us know when placing your order.

The breakfast basket can also be ordered as a picnic basket for later in the day, in which case we can include disposable cutlery and tableware.

Koivuranta Dinner Basket

Our Dinner Basket contains everything you need to prepare a delicious and easy meal at your cottage.

The basket includes a thin steak made from Finnish Native Eastern Finncattle (Kyyttö) beef, locally grown vegetables, and either oats or barley. It is accompanied by our homemade herb pesto. The beef is already rolled thin and ready for cooking. Simply fry it lightly on both sides, season with salt and pepper, cook the oats or barley, and sauté the pre-cooked vegetables. Finish the dish with herb pesto and enjoy. For dessert, the basket includes Koivuranta's homemade ice cream.

Breakfast Basket €25 per person.

Dinner Basket €25 per person.

Minimum order for 2 people.

Delivery to your cottage is available for €5 per order.

Please order breakfast and dinner baskets by email at info@koivuranta.net or upon arrival, no later than the day before. If you have any dietary requirements, please ask when placing your order, and we will let you know whether we can accommodate them.
